Mastermind is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Superintendent to join our technical management team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the seamless technical operation, maintenance, and safety of assigned vessels within our fleet, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency and in full regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the technical performance and condition of assigned vessels.
• Ensure compliance with Company SMS, HSQE policies, Class and Flag regulations.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting activities onboard vessels.
• Plan and supervise dry dockings and major repair projects.
• Monitor vessel performance including fuel consumption, machinery condition, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain close communication with Masters and Chief Engineers to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.
• Review technical reports, machinery alarms, and maintenance records to identify potential issues.
• Ensure vessels maintain valid statutory and class certificates.
• Coordinate spare parts supply and technical services with the Purchasing Department.
• Attend vessel inspections and prepare technical attendance reports.

Requirements

• Chief Engineer license or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Naval Architecture / Nautical Science
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of ship maintenance and marine engineering systems.
• Good command of the English language.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with technical reporting systems.
